Bhoot Police: Is It An Interesting Movie Or A Let Down?
Horror comedy is a genre that is gaining popularity in Hindi cinema, with directors showing a strong interest in it. The horror-comedy “Bhoot Police” is the latest film directed by Pawan Kripalani, who has previously directed films such as the horror film “Ragini MMS” and the psychological thriller “Phobia.”
What The Film Is All About?
Bhoot Police tells the tale of two brothers, Vibhuti (played by Saif Ali Khan) and Chironji (played by Arjun Kapoor), who pretend to be exorcists and are cast out of their home by their father. They have a unique kind of vehicle in which they reside, which they call their home. The name Baba & Sons is written backward on this car. Actually, his father is a wonderful tantric, while Vibhuti is a hypocrite on top of being a hypocrite on top. He wants to make money off of superstition. Therefore he is using it to his advantage.
Chironji, on the other hand, is the polar opposite of him in that he believes in ghosts. He wishes to continue on his father’s heritage by studying Tantric Vidya from the Tantra-Mantra book that was handed to him by his father. A ghost named Kichkandi has been summoned to a tea estate in the picturesque Himalayan valleys, and he is tasked with exorcising him. This spirit had been tamed in this garden 27 years before by his father.
The plantation is owned by two sisters, Maya (played by Yami Gautam Dhar) and Kanika (played by Jacqueline Fernandez). Can both of the brothers assist these sisters who have gone from being wealthy to being bankrupt? Is it possible for them to expel the spirit, which only appears at night? After viewing the video, you will be able to find the answers to these questions.
How Was the Film?
The film Bhoot Police, written and directed by Pawan Kriplani, deals with fraud that takes place under the pretense of superstition at the beginning. They have attempted to generate uncertainty regarding whether they are a ghost or not, but have been unsuccessful in their efforts. Despite the fact that the two brothers are members of the seventh generation of the Kaal Bhairav Tantric Gharana, their narrative does not revolve on any specific problem. There is a logical inconsistency in the narrative. Go Corona, Go Kishkandi, and Nepotism are only a few examples of how corruption has destroyed the nation. Laugh along with the conversations. In the film, Saif Ali adopts a more formal tone of voice.
His writing style is enthralling. They are, however, unable to maintain consistency in their approach. There are even more clowns at this place. No indication that he is acting in the character of a hypocritical Tantrik is there. While Arjun Kapoor seems to be enjoying himself in the role, he does not appear to be. Despite the fact that the two brothers have been living together since they were children, their pronunciation is unintelligible to outsiders.
The underlying mystery in the narrative, along with the humor, is what distinguishes horror-comedy films from other genres. I’m interested to see what happens in the future. There was no such sensation in this place. You can readily guess what Jacqueline Fernandez’s character would be like.
The comedic performance by Jamie Lever, the daughter of Johnny Lever, is the film’s high point. He has similar abilities to his father. The moment in which he sings the song ‘How is the Josh’ dialogue in the film, as well as the song ‘Aao Na…’, is one that will be remembered fondly. The rest of the time, Jacqueline Fernandez is looking stunning. Even though she hardly appears in a few scenes, Yami Gautam successfully portrays her role. In cameo appearances, Rajpal Yadav and Javed Jaffrey are dressed in their trademark fashion.
